To apply, applicants must submit the following:
- Online application form. The link is given below. You will be asked to provide information about your academic background, research experience, and contact information for three references (whom we will contact only if you are shortlisted). You will also have the opportunity to specify your first and second choice for research theme as well as your geographic area of interest. We recommend that you view the application beforehand so that you are prepared to enter all of the relevant information.
- A personal statement (maximum 500 words), to be uploaded through the online application. We seek innovative ideas with the potential to advance knowledge on one or more of the research themes. Please communicate how you think that your idea will lend a unique perspective to your chosen research theme(s) as well as the study of rainfed agriculture more generally. Statements need not outline fully-formed projects, but they should be focused enough to grow into a project proposal that can be feasibly completed during the fellowship period. Please also specify how your project advances your broader research or career objectives.
Deadline:
Applications must be submitted by March 9, 2015. We will notify the results on or before March 30, 2015. Please contact Prachee Sinha at [email protected] for any additional questions. We look forward to reviewing your application.
Note: Once you click on the apply button below it will take you to a Google form in a new window.
